It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/Engineer Duane K. Ibarra of IAFF Local 1463 – Hawaiian Islands, Hawaii.  Brother Ibarra, 50, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 of a heart attack while physical fitness training at the fire station.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Captain Andy M. Troncale of IAFF Local 3440 – Arcadia, California.  Brother Troncale, 52, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012 from job-related colon cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Timothy J. Murray of IAFF Local 60 – Scranton, Pennsylvania.  Brother Murray, 54, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012 from cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Driver/Engineer Keith L. Crabtree of IAFF Local 2434 – Turlock, California.  Brother Crabtree, 57, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from pancreatic cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/EMT William Joseph “Bill” Elliott of IAFF Local 1549 – Pompano Beach, Florida.  Brother Elliott, 49, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012 from a fall during a training exercise.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Darrell O. Ellwood of IAFF Local 455 – Windsor, Ontario.  Brother Ellwood, 50, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011 from cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter James M. Rice of IAFF Local 925 – Peabody, Massachusetts. Brother Rice, 42, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011 from burns received while fighting a three-alarm fire.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Frank A. Reddington of IAFF Local 799 – Providence, Rhode Island.  Brother Reddington, 53, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011 from pancreatic cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Albert E. Briand, Jr. of IAFF Local 2678 – Norton, Massachusetts.  Brother Briand, 58, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2011 from kidney cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Michael E. Boehle of IAFF Local 2665 – Professional Fire Fighters of Eastern Missouri.  Brother Boehle, 57, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011 from liver cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/Paramedic Jody Eugene Baker of IAFF Industrial Local 1117 – Pantex, Texas.  Brother Baker, 35, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011 in a vehicle accident on his way to work.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/EMT Jonathan G. Terra of IAFF Local 2305 – Coalinga, California.  Brother Terra, 36, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011 of a heart attack.  He was the Secretary/Treasurer of the local.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Kevin Townes of IAFF Local 107 – Mount Vernon, New York.  Brother Townes, 54, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from a heart attack while responding to a house fire.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain James D. McNamara of IAFF Local 2665 – Professional Fire Fighters of Eastern Missouri.  Brother McNamara, 60, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from pancreatic cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Jon D. Davies of IAFF Local 1009 – Worcester, Massachusetts.  Brother Davies, 43, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from a building collapse while responding to a three-alarm fire.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Engineer/Paramedic Todd E. Walker of IAFF Local 3581 – Ebbetts Pass, California.  Brother Walker, 38, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2011 from cardiac arrest.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/Engineer George H. Sly of IAFF Local 876 – Spokane Valley, Washington.  Brother Sly, 62, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from esophageal cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Engineer Darren Rockett of IAFF Local 372 – Long Beach, California.  Brother Rockett, 47, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from cardiac arrest.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant James Andrew Zahn of IAFF Local 146 – Lawrence, Massachusetts.  Brother Zahn, 47, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from occupational cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Larry Pilkey of IAFF Local 2727 – Markham, Ontario.  Brother Pilkey, 54, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011
from brain cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Horace “Chris” Pendergrass of IAFF Local 2068 – Fairfax County, Virginia.  Brother Pendergrass, 49, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2011 while at the fire station.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Kirk W. Pederson of IAFF Local 4 – Des Moines, Iowa.  Brother Pederson, 49, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011 from job-related cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Kenneth R. Groennert of IAFF Local 2665 – Professional Fire Fighters of Eastern Missouri.  Brother Groennert, 38, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from occupational cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant Mark A. Young of IAFF Local 1011 – Haverhill, Massachusetts.  Brother Young, 51, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from cancer.
