It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/EMT Frank O. Reed of IAFF Local 3719 – Visalia, California. Brother Reed, 46, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from brain cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant David Allen Curlin of IAFF Local 14 – Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Brother Curlin, 40, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010 from injuries he suffered on January 3rd when a wall and steel girder collapsed on him during a commercial building fire.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Robert K. Scavone of IAFF Local 343 – Saratoga Springs, New York. Brother Scavone, 57, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from pancreatic cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Platoon Chief Cliff R. Barrett of IAFF Local 529 – Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.  Brother Barrett passed away on Monday, April 5, 2010 of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Dave F. Galloway of IAFF Local 718 – Boston, Massachusetts.  Brother Galloway, 42, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 of cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Brian Carey of IAFF Local 3656 – Homewood, Illinois.  Brother Carey, 28, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010 from burns while responding to a house fire.

 It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Dennis Robinson of IAFF Local 3504 – United Pima Fire Fighters, Arizona.  Brother Robinson passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 of a stroke.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant Edward D. Teare of IAFF Local 2375 – Independence, Ohio.  Brother Teare, 53, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 after a training session.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter John Paul Moore of IAFF Local 67 – Columbus, Ohio.  Brother Moore, 56, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2010 from a heart attack while at fire department headquarters.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/Acting Captain David C. Gray of IAFF Local 3888 – Toronto, Ontario.  Brother Gray,48, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from brain cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Inspector Brian P. Waynant, Sr. of IAFF Local 1590 – Wilmington, Delaware.  Brother Waynant, 45, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010.  He was struck by a train while on duty.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Battalion Chief Richard “Chip” Smith of IAFF Local 1430 – Ontario, California.  Brother Smith, 46, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2009 from colorectal cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/Paramedic Patrick J. Reif of IAFF Local 742 – Evanston, Illinois.  Brother Reif, 56, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010 from cardiac arrest.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Steven R. Rankin of IAFF Local 1927 – Culver City, California.  Brother Rankin, 54, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain David Drainville of IAFF Local 193 – Thunder Bay, Ontario.  Brother Drainville, 57, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2010 from brain cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Brian Heaton of IAFF Local 536 – Brockville, Ontario.  Brother Heaton, 63, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2010 from cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant Joseph McCafferty of  IAFF Local 291 – Lancaster, Ohio.  Brother McCafferty passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2010.  He collapsed while working at a structure fire.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Emergency Medical Technician Mark Vernick of IAFF Local I-60 – United Emergency Medical Professionals of Arizona.  Brother Vernick, 33, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2010 in a vehicle accident while enroute from one duty station to another.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Battalion Chief Jeff Christ of IAFF Local 2086 – Littleton, Colorado.  Brother Christ, 52, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Urban A. Eck of IAFF Local 135 – Wichita, Kansas.  Brother Eck, 51, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2010 from a cardiac condition following firefighting activities.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Chief Fire Prevention Officer Rex E. Heath of IAFF Local 1632 – Pickering, Ontario.  Brother Heath, 61, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2009 from cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Jason Dale Simon of IAFF Local 619 – Lafayette, Louisiana.  Brother Simon, 52, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2009 from a brain tumor.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Battalion Chief Tommy L. Adams of IAFF Local 514 – Shreveport, Louisiana.  Brother Adams, 52, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from injuries sustained when he fell from a ladder truck on February 21st

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Heavy Equipment Operator Dean T. Moore of IAFF Local 2046 – Santa Barbara County, California.  Brother Moore, 51, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2009 from cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Battalion Chief David H. Jacobs, Jr. of IAFF Local 2898 – Seattle Fire Chiefs, Seattle, Washington.  Brother Jacobs, 58, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2009 from esophageal cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty of Fire Fighter Ramon E. Hain of IAFF Local 21 – Saint Paul, Minnesota.  Brother Hain, 50, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2009 from heart disease.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Terence Goldberg of IAFF Local 2545 – Kirkland, Washington.  Brother Goldberg, 43, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2009 from cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Jim S. McDonald of IAFF Local 867 – Winnipeg, Manitoba. Brother McDonald, 54, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 from bladder cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Donald (Don) J. McCormick of IAFF Local 162 – Ottawa, Ontario.  Brother McCormick, 75, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2009 from complications of a neurological disorder.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/Paramedic Mark McNeal of IAFF Local 1505 – Flagstaff, Arizona.  Brother McNeal, 53, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2009 of cancer.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/EMT John C. “Jack” Balben of IAFF Local 2023 – Sudbury, Massachusetts.  Brother Balben, 60, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2009 of a heart attack.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain  Bill F. Rodat of IAFF Local 4757 – Tulare, California.  Brother Rodat, 53, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2009 of cancer

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Carl Nordwall of IAFF Local 3406 – Norfolk Airport, Norfolk, Virginia.  Brother Nordwall, 56, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 of cardiac arrest while on duty.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Joseph S. Covalucci, Jr. of IAFF Local 1656 – Everett, Massachusetts.  Brother Covalucci, 58, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2009 from a heart attack.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain David J. Stochl of IAFF Local 1230 – Contra Costa County, California.  Brother Stochl, 51, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 from brain cancer
