Surrey Fire Fighter Charities are soliciting for donations                                                                                        November 1, 2010

***Charitable Donation Solicitation Notice***

The Surrey Firefighters’ Charitable Society will be soliciting for donations to benefit youth, seniors and the less fortunate citizens of Surrey. Someone may be contacting you (by telephone) between November to January. Our current soliciation will be for ongoing support of our programs we deliver to children and the less fortunate in our community. The callers will identify themselves by stating,

“GOOD AFTERNOON/EVENING. MAY I SPEAK TO MR/MRS _______ PLEASE?

HELLO THIS IS ______ CALLING ON BEHALF OF THE (SURREY) FIREFIGHTERS CHARITABLE SOCIETY.

HOW ARE YOU TODAY? GREAT!

ONCE AGAIN YOUR (SURREY) FIREFIGHTERS ARE RAISING FUNDS FOR VARIOUS PROGRAMS SUCH AS FEEDING HUNGRY KIDS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS OR PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO THE COMMUNITIES LESS FORTUNATE. MR/S._______, WHAT WE’RE HOPING IS THAT THE (SURREY) FIGHTER CHARITABLE FOUNDATION CAN GAIN YOUR VERY KIND SUPPORT IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS BY PURCAHSING TICKETS FOR THE MAGIC SHOW?”

Please note we do not conduct door to door solicitation.

Also note, that all proceeds stay in Surrey, and with your support we can make a difference in our community. On behalf of all Surrey Firefighters, thank you for your on-going support!
